The Run Downtown 5K is one of the largest and most popular 5K runs in the state. The event is presented by The Greenville News and Greenville Track Club. It's a Corporate Shield event and part of the Greenville Track Club racing series.

Event Description:

The Run Downtown 5K has established itself as one of the most popular January running events in the state. The course starts out with a continuous but gentle rise for the first mile, a series of hills for the second mile, and a screaming fast downhill finish for the last mile. The race has a terrific organizing team who work hard to make this event top notch! Make good on your new year's resolution to get fit by signing up for the RDT 5K.
