I created this site to help people find great places to run and race in Greenville, South Carolina, and maybe even share a few tips that can help improve your running.
What I write on this site is my view, but I do my best to always provide links with “the facts” so that you can also make up your own mind.
This is the spot where I’m supposed to share some of my accomplishments as a runner, so you know that I have some street cred and that you can trust what I have on these pages. I’ll put it this way: I’ve run more than some people, but a lot less than many others. I’ve run faster than a few, but slower than still others. I’ve run races in distances of 5k all the way up to 100+ miles. And that’s actually me up there… after finishing a 50k in the desert and puking five or six times.
I’m not a coach and I didn’t run at a collegiate level, but I often get up and out the door to run when it’s raining or stupidly cold, and I once won a turkey in a pre-Thanksgiving 10k race. In short, I’m far from an expert, but I’ve learned a few things from getting out there and putting one foot in front of the other.
